Boeuf Salad (Salata de Boeuf) Romanian Traditional Food it’s very popular on holidays , it’s our potato salad and can be made with chicken , beef or simple vegetarian, Don’t forget to decorate the plate with olives ,egs and red sour pickles 🙂

Ingredients

  • 5 chicken thighs
  • 5 carrots
  • horseradish mustard
  • a pinch of salt
  • mayonnaise
  • 2 potatoes
  • 8 large sour pickles
  • 2 celery root ( 1/2 for a large root)
  • 2 parsley root
  • 2 parsnip root

Method

Step 1

Boil the vegetables and the meat, and remove the soup

Step 2

Cut the meat, the potato, the carrots, parsnip, parsley, the celery root and the pickles into small cubes.

Step 3

Mix everything and add just enough mayonnaise to bind the ingredients together.

Step 4

Put into a serving bowl, cover with a very thin mayonnaise layer. You can decorate with olives and fine slices of red sour peppers.

Step 5

Best serve cold.
